Centre for Food safety and Quality Management (CFSQM)

In the interest of consumer safety, nutritional security and public health, there is a need for producing safe and wholesome food products. It has to be ensured that such food products comply with domestic standards and also international standards if products are for exports. There is need for testing of all imported food products to ensure that they are of the requisite domestic standard. Apart from this, the level of contaminants, additives, and pesticide residues in food items is required to be monitored regularly. Therefore, a robust management system coupled with network of food testing and analysis laboratories is required to support the surveillance system of food regulator, timely analysis of samples and ensure compliance of international and domestic standards on food for exports as well as imports. Keeping in view these requirements, CFSQM has come up with various courses in collaboration with different technical and training institutes. These courses are

A) FSSAI  JOB TRAININGS- Preparations for Entrance Examinations:

1.Technical posts-AD,FSO,TO       durations 4 weeks.  Cost 10,000 class rooms,. starting June,15th

2. Non Technical- AD, AO, Assistant, Junior Assistant, Astt Manager, Dy Manager, Asst manager IT, IT assistant, June,15th

3.  6th FOOD ANALYST EXAMINATION (FAE-2019) – one month, cost 25000 

 4. 3rd JUNIOR ANALYST EXAMINATION (JAE-2019) one month, cost 15000,

B) Fostac trainings- Different categories (In collaboration with IIEST and other partners)
